Daniel Strauss, DC, Dean of the College of Professional Studies at National University – Florida-site, was recently elected to serve another term as president of the Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Strauss previously served 3 one-year terms as president in 2018, 2019, and in 2020. During that time, he led many outreach efforts to bring health care access and awareness to the community. He also worked to completely rebrand the chamber by updating its website and logo.

“My goals for the Pinellas Park/Gateway Chamber for 2022 are to create new health and wellness initiatives that impact the residents in Pinellas Park. I’m excited for our NUHS students to be a part of this,” he said.

The chamber will also be doing a strong marketing and communications push to increase awareness to members, including National University of Health Sciences, about great things the chamber does for the community.

In addition to his role as chamber president, Dr. Strauss holds other leadership positions within the community. He is chairman of the Pinellas Park Medical District, an award-winning organization that develops opportunities for businesses, students and professionals in the health care field. Dr. Strauss also serves as the vice president of Vincent House, a local nonprofit that assists individuals with mental illness. Both organizations help expose students to a variety of community service opportunities.
