Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services, helping clients relax, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. You will assess clients’ needs and develop customized treatment plans to address their specific concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform various types of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal.
Assess clients’ physical conditions and recommend appropriate treatments.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments.
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
Current state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
Proven experience as a massage therapist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for clients.
Ability to adapt techniques based on client feedback and needs.
Starting pay at $25- $40 an hr
