Jennifer Green, ND, DC, has been named Chief Clinician of Naturopathic Medicine for the Naturopathic Clinical Program at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, Illinois.

In the new role, Dr. Green will oversee naturopathic clinicians, supervise and teach interns, and uphold the educational standards set by the naturopathic accrediting body. She also acts as a liaison between the naturopathic clinic and the community.

“I’m most looking forward to continuing to improve the naturopathic clinic experience and providing more opportunities for students to learn,” Dr. Green said.

Dr. Green previously served as an ND clinician at the Whole Health Center for nearly 10 years. She earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from NUHS in 2010 and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from NUHS in 2021.

Beyond the university, she is an active member of the naturopathic medicine community. In July, she served as a panelist at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians Annual Convention discussing “Lessons Learned: Clinical Education in a Pandemic, Roundtable with AANMC Member Chief Medical Officers.”

In July 2021, a case study by Dr. Green and one of her graduates, “Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis: The Impact of Nutrition,” placed third in the NDNR (Naturopathic Doctor News and Review) student scholarship case study competition.

Dr. Green specializes in women’s health, pediatrics, autoimmune and endocrine disorders, lab diagnostics, Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST), general naturopathic practice, and has a strong determination for finding the root cause of symptoms and individualizing treatments for each person.

She also has a passion for teaching interns.

“I truly enjoy getting to work with each student individually and seeing them grow into naturopathic doctors,” she said.
