Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for students starting programs in chiropractic, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and oriental medicine as well as undergraduate degrees in massage therapy and biomedical sciences.
Their academic journeys begin with new student orientation programs where students will have the opportunity to interact with various departments, including key administrators and staff.
It is an exciting day, where students learn more about degree completion requirements, and get tips and strategies for success at National University. Students will also get their official NUHS email address and identification cards.
“Students have much to look forward to as they begin our academic programs here,” said Victoria Sweeney, director of admissions at NUHS. “In addition to completing their degrees or certificates, NUHS fosters an integrative environment in which students can expect to build long-lasting relationships across many fields.”
To help students with their transition to National University, staff members will be on-hand at an information booth in the main hallway during the first few days of classes. Staff can help students find their next class, answer last minute questions about their schedule, or give advice on how to fill out a form.
New students with questions about starting classes at National University can also reach out to Student Services at 630-889-6542.
