National University proudly honored 60 graduate and undergraduate students in commencement ceremonies for both the College of Allied Health Sciences and College of Professional Studies.

The College of Allied Health Sciences commencement ceremony featured President James F. Winterstein as guest speaker, while the College of Professional Studies heard from commencement speaker Dr. Doreen C. Parkhurst, program director and associate dean for the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Physician Assistant Program. Dr. Parkhurst has served as the principal investigator on six federal grants totaling more than $3 million from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to develop one of the most unique and creative physician assistant training programs in the country.
