Exit Counseling

National University students who withdraw, graduate, or do not return to complete a program and were recipients of federal funds from the Stafford, Direct, or Graduate PLUS programs are required to complete exit counseling. Graduate professional students attend an exit counseling session prior to graduation and undergraduate students complete online exit counseling. Students are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid Office with any questions about loan repayment options.

  For any Stafford Loan, Direct Loan, or Graduate PLUS loan borrowed while in attendance at NUHS

Students are encouraged to view their federal loans using the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS). This contains the loan amount, loan type, lender, and servicer of the loan, as well as important contact information.
