Coming from the North
From I-355: exit Roosevelt Road (Route 38); go east on Roosevelt to Highland Avenue; turn left at Highland into main entrance; turn right for clinic, turn left for all other buildings.
Coming from the East
From I-290 West: merge onto I-88 West; travel one-half mile and exit Roosevelt Road (Route 38); travel west on Roosevelt to Highland Avenue; turn right into main entrance; turn right for clinic, turn left for all other buildings.
Coming from the West
From I-88 East: merge onto I-355 North; exit Roosevelt Road (Route 38) East; go east on Roosevelt to Highland Avenue; turn left at Highland into main entrance; turn right for clinic, turn left for all other buildings.
Coming from the South
From I-294: exit I-88 West; exit Highland Avenue North; turn right onto Highland; proceed north on Highland through approximately four traffic lights, moving into center lane at Roosevelt Road; proceed with caution across Roosevelt Road (Route 38) onto campus; turn right for clinic, turn left for all other buildings.
Parking
- There is ample parking available on the NUHS campus.
- Each lot has marked visitor parking spaces.
- You are also welcome to park in any space that is not numbered.
- Staff and faculty have reserved parking in numbered spaces.

Lombard - The Lilac Village
National University's 35-acre campus is in the heart of suburban Lombard, Illinois, a quiet, safe, family-oriented area. Lombard is known as the "Lilac Village" and welcomes thousands of visitors each year for its two-week "Lilac Time" celebration in May. Lilacia Park, in the center of historic downtown Lombard is an 8.5-acre park that boasts 200 fragrant varieties of lilac bushes and 75,000 tulips and spring flowers that offer a floral extravaganza every spring.
Our campus is convenient to Yorktown Center, an enclosed 30-acre shopping mall. Students can also enjoy movies at an 18-plex cinema, dine and dance at several restaurants and entertainment establishments nearby, or visit the roller skating rink or whirly ball court. Read more about Lombard »

Cultural, historic, architectural, athletic, and entertainment options are just minutes away when you are looking for a break from the rigors of class and study. In addition to the theatre, dining, shopping, and nightlife that you'd expect from a world-class city, Chicago offers many other unique enjoyments.
- Lakefront - Runners, cyclists, roller-bladers, dog-walkers, pedestrians, sightseers, swimmers, sun worshippers, boaters, and sports teams! There's a place for everyone on Chicago's lakefront. Be sure to visit the jewel of Chicago's lakefront, the 50-acre Navy Pier, which offers an assortment of parks, gardens, shops, restaurants, and attractions including the Shakespeare Theater, Omni-max Theater, Chicago Children's Museum, 15-story Ferris wheel and musical carousel, dinner and cruise boats, outdoor entertainment stages, and special events held year-round.
- Museums - Chicago is home to dozens of museums, including the Chicago Art Institute, the Field Museum of Natural History, the Museum of Science and Industry, and the Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum. There are also several smaller and special interest museums like the Museum of Broadcast Communications, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and the DuSable Museum of African American History.
- Sports - Sports lovers can find plenty of action year round, since Chicago boasts seven professional sports teams, including the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Fire soccer team, the Chicago Bulls. Baseball lovers will have to choose sides between the Cubs or White Sox, and hockey fans can enjoy the Blackhawks or the Wolves. In addition, sporting events at four area colleges, DePaul University, Loyola University, Northwestern University, and the University of Illinois at Chicago are open to the public.
