Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for producing marketing materials for the University including print and digital publications, marketing collateral, direct mail, email, promotional items, etc. The Marketing Coordinator also has primary responsibility for university publications and coordinates marketing support for University departments


  • Manage the creation and production of various marketing materials, including viewbooks, brochures, fliers, and promotional items.
  • Assist in planning, creating, deploying and measuring marketing campaigns including direct mail, email, and print advertising
  • Project manage university publications (i.e. Bulletin, NUHS Magazine, etc.) and assist with writing and editing content
  • Plan and execute marketing/communications support for University events such as for campus visit days, speaker series, etc.
  • Assist in the creation and day-to-day management of the communication production calendar
  • Oversee content and promotion of NUHS programs on third party sites, including competitor tracking, identifying opportunities, reporting and analysis.
  • Responsible for purchasing and inventory management of print materials and promotional items for Admissions department.
  • Coordinate marketing support requested by University departments including project tracking and fulfillment.
  • Recruit and manage student workers in the communications department.
  • Other duties may be assigned. 


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or journalism.
  • 2-3 years related experience in marketing/communications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite, especially MS Excel.
