Asad Zaman, MD

Asad Zaman, M.D., joined the clinical staff at the Whole Health Center in Lombard in December 2016.  In addition to providing patient care, he plays a teaching role, instructing clinic interns while allowing them to observe his patient care interactions. 

Dr. Zaman is board-certified in internal medicine and directs his own practice, Zmedi Group, which consists of doctors who also work locally at Advocate Good Samaritan and Palos Community hospitals.

Dr. Zaman graduated from Dhaka Medical College and completed his residency at Weiss Memorial University of Chicago. In 2011, he served as chairman for the Advocate South Suburban Hospital Department of Medicine in Hazel Crest, Ill. Outside of National University, he also works on staff at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Ill., and as medical director at local assisted living facilities.

At the Whole Health Center, Dr. Zaman provides a full menu of healthcare services including allopathic services, pharmaceutical prescriptions, injections and major wound repairs. Following National University's focus on integrative medicine, Dr. Zaman can also refer patients to the clinic's chiropractic, naturopathic and acupuncture/oriental medicine services.
